Keeping Up with Your Chiropractic Care During COVID-19

While the world is experiencing a pandemic, unfortunately, people still have conditions that require regular chiropractic care. As restrictions are beginning to lift, receiving necessary care will be easier.

If you’re in pain, you don’t want to ignore it or medicate in other ways because you feel limited by restrictions surrounding COVID-19.

However, there are alternatives to seeing your chiropractor in-person, including virtual appointments.

With a virtual appointment, your chiropractor can still do the following:

  • Evaluate your symptoms
  • Evaluate your progress
  • Discuss pain management
  • Recommend stretching techniques
  • Recommend exercises that can be done at home
  • Provide suggestions for a holistic approach to your condition

An appointment with your chiropractor can be extremely helpful. If you are in debilitating pain, you likely need in-person treatment, but otherwise, telehealth appointments are a great alternative during social distancing.

Remember there is significant evidence that chiropractic care can boost your immune system. Spinal adjustments and manipulations can improve your overall health and wellness. These procedures will not protect you from contracting COVID-19, but having a stronger immune system is always a good thing.
